Project Mission

GeoDIQA was developed to address a critical challenge in the geoscience industry: ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data extracted from complex documents using document intelligence and OCR technologies.

The mission of this project is to transform document quality assessment from a subjective, labor-intensive process into an objective, automated workflow that enables geoscience organizations to accelerate their digital transformation while ensuring the highest levels of data integrity.

The Wasoku Challenge

GeoDIQA was developed as part of the Wasoku Challenge, which sought innovative solutions to verify the accuracy of data extracted from geoscience documents without requiring comparison to the original documents.

This approach focuses on developing objective quality metrics that can reliably indicate when extracted data needs human verification, enabling more efficient document processing workflows.
